ANSCHÜTZ now offers the compressed air rifle 8002 S2 also in a new stock version. The 8002 S2 is now also available in a precious walnut design. In addition some details of this high tech product have been improved. The barreled action manufactured in a special process originates from the ANSCHÜTZ premium class and – as it is usual for ANSCHÜTZ products – does not leave any wishes open with regard to accuracy and reliability. The barreled action is embedded into the aluminium stock via vibration absorbing elastomers. Vibrations which occur during shooting in the barreled action of the air rifle are thus effectively absorbed. ANSCHÜTZ reaches an extremely short lock time by using new materials and technologies, for example for the firing pin. The mechanic trigger unit offers a constantly reliable trigger behaviour even at extreme temperatures due to the use of uniform materials.
Also with regard to safety ANSCHÜTZ left nothing to chance. The barreled action is only cocked when the action is closed completely. If the cocking lever is not closed completely, it jumps back automatically and a shot release is not possible.
Safety is also an important feature of the dry firing device. The dry firing mode can only be actuated in cocked condition. It is therefore not possible to uncock the barreled action by pushing the dry firing switch once the trigger has been released. Thus an inadvertent shot release is avoided.
To guarantee a trouble free function of the compressed air technology this model has an air filter to protect the pressure regulator and the valve from impurities which in turn avoids malfunctions. And as utmost quality is a feature of all details as well, the refill adapter was also equipped with an air filter.
