This unit consists of the Gehmann rearsight iris, two banks of six colour filters and two polarisers. The available colour filters are:
- wheel 1: pale yellow, avocado green, orange, brown, dark or light grey
- wheel 2: light blue, dark blue, lemon yellow, red, light green and lilac
The colours from one ring can be mixed with the other to provide an additional 36 colour options. All colours can also be deselected, allowing the unit to be used as an iris aperture only. The two polarisers are independently adjustable: - the first filter controls the intensity of light white around the target
- the second filter controls the total amount of light visible through the sight
