The Noptel Rail Adaptor allows a Noptel Sport II unit to be attached to the accessory rail of your rifle. Experience has shown us that the Sport II unit can sometimes struggle to hold a consistent zero when live firing with it clamped to the barrel of a smallbore rifle. We have worked with Noptel to develop this rail adaptor, which has been tested over a period of a few months with Scottish and British international teams, which provides a more robust connection between the rifle and optical unit. The rail adaptor will attach to a standard accessory rail, and has been successfully used with Anschutz, Walther, Feinwerkbau, System Gemini, MEC and Grunig & Elmiger stocks to date. It is designed to function with stocks where the accessory rail is horizontal - i.e. parallel to the barrel - but with a little packing at one side of the rail adaptor it can be used with stocks which have a slight slope to the fore-end, such as the System Gemini and the MEC Project.
