Historically System Gemini stocks have used a layer of high-quality masking tape as a bedding layer between the action and the stock. Experience has shown that this tape requires regular replacement in order to remain effective, and we can provide new strips of tape free of charge to existing customers. However, new System Gemini stocks are now supplied with a thin plastic shim instead of the masking tape. A strong, but flexible insert drops into the stock and is clamped in place by the action of the rifle. We now have a stock of these shims, which can be retroactively fitted to earlier models of System Gemini stocks, including the Concept (20xx), Sport and Ultra models.
