Using a filter is proven to be helpful in difficult light conditions. Whether to reduce glare or increase contrast, filters are always useful.
Filter systems that allow shooters to add a filter in front of the shooting lens are particularly highly recommended, as that is the only way to ensure the entire view is filtered with the desired effect and not just the target. This prevents undesirable differences in contrast and brightness between the target and the surrounding area.
Using filters in this way relieves strain on the aiming eye and significantly increases a shooter’s chances of improving their hit rate. Filters without anti-reflection coatings still perform very well but, to avoid unwanted reflections, you should always opt for filters that have been treated with a super anti-reflection coating.
These coloured filters are for use with the MEC Glas System range. They require the Magnetic Filter Holder to attach the filter to your lensholder.
