A Synthetic cartridge with a safety flag - indicates that there is no live cartridge in the chamber, and that it is open. It also helps reduce cooling down of the barrel when taking a break.

    An excellent piece of kit - the O-rings around the plug give a total seal in the chamber; and mean that the flag grips the chamber snugly until removed. It won't fall out.
